IE New York College shares its vision for the future of Higher Education at its pre-inaugural event
IENYC held its pre-inaugural event on December 9th, bringing together the leadership of both IE New York College and its sole member, IE University.
The celebration was the occasion to share the College’s vision for the future of higher education with alumni, faculty and staff members from both institutions.
Distinguished guests included Manuel Muñiz, Chair of the Board of Trustees of IENYC and Provost at IE University, Jacqueline LeBlanc, Interim President and Provost of IENYC, Diego del Alcázar Benjumea, CEO of IE University, among others.
IENYC works to transform the academic experience of graduate students from across the globe. “Our mission is to enrich New York by advancing the global student experience, fostering the generation and sharing of knowledge, and making a meaningful impact on U.S. business and society, guided by our core values of entrepreneurship, sustainability, and innovation”, said Manuel Muñiz at the event.
Students from across the globe will join IENYC’s Master of Science in Business for Social Impact and Sustainability in February 2025. Located at the heart of SoHo, Lower Manhattan, IENYC will recruit for its a Master of Science in Sustainable Fashion, in September 2025, and a Master in Management and a Master in Finance, in 2026.
The College, focused on Business and Sustainability, currently delivers a portfolio of Masters’ programs focused on Business for Social Impact and Sustainability. In July 2024, IE University replaced Glasgow Caledonian University as the sole member of Glasgow Caledonian New York College (GCNYC), which was renamed IE New York College (IENYC).
