Your Career Support
Your Career Support
Career workshops and individual advising help students and alumni explore career options, define their goals, and prepare for their job search. Advising covers CVs and cover letters, LinkedIn, networking, job-search strategy, and interview preparation.
The Career Accelerator course provides students with structured career education through practical workshops on career exploration, CV and LinkedIn development, networking, employer research, job-search strategy, and interview preparation. This internal course also includes an information session on Optional Practical Training (OPT).
The IENYC Career Portal, powered by 12twenty, allows students and alumni to update their profiles and career interests, upload their CVs, access career resources, and explore and apply for available opportunities.
Talent & Careers also helps international students understand the U.S. hiring environment, navigate professional expectations, and develop their job-search strategy, including career planning around OPT. IENYC Employer Forums bring together employers and alumni for masterclasses, panel discussions, and networking focused on employment trends and industry insights.
