    Jacqueline LeBlanc, Ph.D.

    President

    Jacqueline LeBlanc, Ph.D. is an experienced leader in higher education with expertise in academic affairs administration, accreditation, assessment, and strategic planning. Dr. LeBlanc’s broad experience and expertise in higher education has developed through her substantial work with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the New York State Education Department, the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, and the American Council on Education.

  • Francisco Chabrán

    Dean of Programs and External Relations

    Francisco Chabrán has spent the past 15 years advancing impactful work across government, higher education, and corporate learning and development. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Whittier College, where he was recognized as the Distinguished Sociologist in Praxis by his graduating class. He also earned a Master’s in International Relations from the School of Global and Public Affairs at IE University, where he completed a thesis on The Digital Age of Transparency.

    Francisco began his career in public service as a Legislative Deputy to Los Angeles County Supervisor Gloria Molina, the first Latina elected to the LA County Board of Supervisors. He later joined IE University, where he held several leadership roles across Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Services, and International Development. For seven years, he served as Director of the IE New York City Center, strengthening the university’s presence in North America.

    He lives in New York City’s Upper East Side with his wife, Stephanie, and their two daughters Esperanza and Valentina.

    Lilian Lopez

    Managing Director

    Lilian Lopez is the Managing Director for IE New York College, bringing over 12 years of international experience in Higher Education, specializing in admissions, recruitment, business development, and global expansion. Starting her journey in Madrid, she launched innovative programs for IE’s School of Human Sciences and Technology. Since 2016, she has been at the forefront of IE’s growth in the U.S. and Canada, working to elevate the university's presence on a global scale. A proud graduate of the Wisconsin School of Business (B.B.A.) and IE Business School (Master’s in Management), Lilian is passionate about education's transformative power, committed to empowering future leaders and fostering opportunities that drive positive change in the world.

    Jessica Chang-Russell

    Director of Operations, Title IX Coordinator‌

    Jessica Chang-Russell leads College operations and planning to deliver an effective and efficient working and learning environment. As a member of the leadership team, she supports strategic and operational planning, policies, procedures and change management. Jessica also leads on IENYC campus safety, development of inclusion and diversity initiatives and serves as the College’s Title IX Coordinator. Jessica has over 10 years of events and project management experience and holds an M.S. in International Fashion Marketing from IE New York College.

    Thomas Chin

    IT Helpdesk Technician

    Thomas is the Part time Help Desk/AV Technician at IE New York College (IENYC). In his role, he is responsible for providing technical expertise and assistance to resolve technical problems. Thomas joins us with 10+ years of experience in the information technology industry and is currently a Senior IT Analyst at Score Media and Gaming

  • Michael Cohen

    Director of Counseling and Disability Services Coordinator

    Michael Cohen, PhD is Director of Student Counseling & Disability Services at IE New York College (IENYC); and President of the Michael Cohen Group, LLC (MCG), an internationally renowned applied research and consulting firm. Dr. Cohen is a psychologist, clinician, researcher and educator with forty years’ experience in the areas of mental health and post-secondary, adult & life-span learning & education. Dr. Cohen is widely published, a member of the American Psychological & Counseling Associations (APA & ACA), and received his PhD in Developmental Psychology from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.

    Miriam Fernandez

    Registrar

    Miriam has over 25 years of experience in higher education, serving most recently as Secretary General at IE University and a member of the Rectoral Committee since 2013. Prior to that she had a long and successful career as a University Professor in Spain and in the USA and Israel (Tufts University, Boston, USA and Technion, Institute of Technology, Israel). She was also a Visiting Professor at 12 European universities. Miriam earned a Ph.D. in Philosophy and a Master's Degree from the Complutense University in Madrid. Her academic research includes the exploration of short stories, the creation of didactic material, and oral and written communication for technological purposes. She is the author of several publications in databases such as Latindex or Dialnet, the author of 6 book chapters and books, and the participant in 7 research projects and 4 teaching innovation projects.

  • ANDREA GONZALEZ

    Associate Director of Global Student Services and Recruitment

    Andrea serves as the Associate Director of Global Student Services and Recruitment at IENYC, overseeing recruitment and student services on a global scale. With a strong background in international recruitment and marketing within higher education, particularly in the U.S., Andrea holds an M.S. in Marketing and Revenue Management. She also brings specialized expertise in marketing and e-commerce, developed through both her academic and professional experience abroad. Andrea's previous experience in hospitality management across Europe has enabled her to refine her skills in customer service, leadership, and event management, further strengthening her ability to support IENYC’s recruitment and student services goals.

    Daniela Hervella

    Director of Administrative Services and Bursary

    With a rich background spanning non-profit, for-profit, and banking/consulting sectors, Daniela brings a wealth of international experience to her role as Director of Administrative Services and Bursary at IE New York College. Before her current role, Daniela spearheaded improvements across Operations, Budgeting, Risk Management, and Human Resources at IE USA North America as the LLC Manager. Previously, as the Director of the Healthy Lifestyles Department at a leading branch of YMCA of Greater New York, Daniela’s role involved leveraging her expertise in process implementation and enhancement to drive membership growth, retention, and satisfaction. 

    Beyond her administrative expertise, Daniela is an Adjunct Professor at the IE Center for Health and Well-being, leveraging her certification as a Personal and Group Fitness Specialist to design impactful courses and seminars focused on enhancing individual and organizational well-being.

  • Elizabeth Pulos

    Program Director, M.S. in Business for Social Impact and Sustainability

    Elizabeth (Liz) Pulos joins IENYC after 10+ years leading sustainability and social impact teams at Converse/Nike, Macy’s, and global nonprofit WRAP. Prior to her career in corporate responsibility, she worked in trend forecasting and strategic branding, media production, and events management.

    Liz holds a B.S. in International Trade and Marketing for the Fashion Industries from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), and an M.S. in Sustainable Fashion from GCNYC. She co-wrote the SUNY Open textbook, Good Corporation, Bad Corporation: Corporate Social Responsibility in the Global Economy and teaches International Corporate Responsibility at FIT. Liz also studied Fashion Marketing at LaSalle International School of Fashion, Arts and Design in Montréal; Musical Performance at Mount Royal University in Calgary; and Environmental Science at the University of Calgary. A classically trained violist, she has performed in New York, Canada, Europe, the UK, and Australia.

    Dmitri Shuster D.B.A.

    Faculty Chair and Program Director, M.S. in Management and M.S. in Finance

    Dmitri is a senior executive with a 21-year career in global financial markets. Most recently, Dmitri was a Co-head of Global Trading at Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank. Currently, Dmitri serves as an advisor to QBIX, an innovative social network startup. He earned his D.B.A. degree in Finance at the University of Manchester, UK.

    Associate Director of Administration Effectiveness

    Shreya Verma serves as the Associate Director of Institutional Effectiveness at the college, where she leads and coordinates assessment, accreditation, and regulatory reporting efforts. She is dedicated to advancing evidence-based decision-making, continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards. In her role, Shreya also serves as the Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO) for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). With a strong passion for technology integration in education, she is committed to creating dynamic learning spaces that foster growth and innovation.
