The Master of Science in Strategic & Creative Marketing, Communication and Media is rooted in the energy of New York City and designed to prepare marketing and communications leaders who can navigate a fast-changing landscape shaped by AI, media, and cultural influence. The program blends marketing, communication, media, creativity, and technology, combining a strong foundation in brand strategy, consumer insights, content creation, and AI-powered marketing with hands-on learning.
Through applied projects, industry engagement, and the Integrative Marketing Challenge, students develop strategic, creative, and analytical solutions to real business and brand challenges while building connections within New York City’s global business ecosystem. Students customize their experience by selecting two of three specialization tracks: Influence Marketing and Engagement Strategy, Brand Management and Product Marketing, or Creative Strategy and Content Production. They can further personalize their learning through industry focused mini courses in Technology, Sports, or Luxury.
The Master in Marketing has been officially approved by the New York State Education Department and is pending final SEVP authorization to enroll international (F-1) students. While this federal approval is being finalized, applications from both domestic and international candidates are open, and our admissions team will keep all international applicants informed once visa eligibility is confirmed.
*IENYC is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), authorized to confer official U.S. master’s degrees, and overseen and accredited by the relevant authorities of the State of New York and MSCHE.

Working in the U.S. After Graduation
International students in the Master of Science in Strategic and Creative Marketing, Communication and Media are eligible to apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT), which allows you to work in the US for up to 12 months post-graduation. And since this is a STEM degree, you may also be eligible for an extension of your OPT for up to two additional years.

Meet Angela Gil, the Program Director of the Master in Strategic & Creative Marketing, Communications and Media at IE New York College (IENYC). A Creative & Executive Producer with over 17 years of international experience, Angela has led innovative initiatives across technology, media, and entertainment, combining strategic vision, creative leadership, and operational excellence.
Throughout her career, Angela has created culture-driven content, events, and brand experiences for organizations ranging from emerging platforms to global media brands, including Rolling Stone, where she built and led the Live Media department, managed key brand partnerships, and launched flagship franchises including Musicians on Musicians and Future of Music. Specializing in innovation, new ventures, launches, and change management, Angela has built and led high-performing cross-functional teams, delivering integrated content and event strategies from concept to execution. Her work combines creativity, operational excellence, and effective stakeholder management to drive meaningful audience engagement and business impact.
