IE New York College Welcomes First Cohorts of MS in Business Analytics & Artificial Intelligence and MS in Finance

IE New York College has welcomed the first cohort of students to its Master of Science Programs in Business Analytics & Artificial Intelligence and Finance, expanding its portfolio of accredited U.S. master's degrees.

The students began their academic experience with a week of workshops, networking sessions, and practical training designed to accelerate their careers in a globalized world of work. Highlights included career strategy sessions, U.S. job market insights, and Optional Practical Training (OPT) guidance. Students also took part in the ‘Promptathon 2026’, a hands-on AI challenge where multidisciplinary teams developed practical AI-powered solutions to real business problems across industries.

The MS in Business Analytics & Artificial Intelligence combines advanced analytics, machine learning and AI applications with leadership and strategic decision-making. The MS in Finance equips students with expertise in investments, valuation, portfolio management and emerging areas such as fintech, artificial intelligence and sustainable finance.

These programs join the current MS in Management and MS in Business for Social Impact & Sustainability, with the MS in Strategic and Creative Marketing, Communication & Media set to launch in January 2027.

IE New York College graduates may apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT) to work in the United States for one year, or up to three years for STEM-designated programs. For IENYC’s Class of 2025, 100% of submitted OPT applications were approved, enabling graduates to gain professional experience in one of the world’s leading hubs for business, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Reflecting the institution’s career-oriented approach, 100% of the Class of 2025 started working upon graduation globally. Of these, 82% are building their careers in multinational corporations and SMEs, while 18% have launched their own ventures, proof of IENYC’s entrepreneurial mindset. Geographically, 71% are working in New York City, 23% in Europe, and 6% in the Middle East and Africa.
